Beautiful Life is a personal recreation of my earlier family-themed work. I merge machine learning with my own story by digitizing family photographs and combining them with letters and personal artifacts. The collage brings together special memories in a cohesive way.
This piece reflects on the sense of separation between me and my brother after he left our hometown, how my awareness of our relationship keeps changing. The inner frame quietly expresses that distance.
The outer frame, featuring a paper crane set in a surreal, vibrant world. It acts like an envelope gathering and protecting my inner piece. Through its form and colors, it contains memories, longings and unspoken wishes. This artwork offers space for the viewer’s own interpretation. The work as a whole explores themes of change, healing and shifting family bonds, encouraging reflection and emotional growth.
